Lomi lomi is a holistic healing hawaiian tradition beyond simple massage. In the past, Lomi lomi was considered a sacred ritual, it was a healing system but it was also a ritual to go from one passage of life to another.

The techniques were transcendant from one generation to another, adapted and redfined by the Kahuna (masters). This massage was an expression of love and respect for every living matter, in harmony with the creation and the spirit of Aloha. The Hawaiian believed that nobody could live a happy life if there was tension in the body. Therefore, they would alleviate any tension to bring about harmony in the body, mind and soul.

This is a holistic massage and everyone can learn it. It is based on 4 basic elements, which are:

1) breathing
2)dance
3) touch
4) music

Lomi Lomi massage has many beneficial effects on the lymphatic, circulatory, respiratory, digestive and the muscular systems.

This Hawaiian massage is going to be taught by a very renowned italian massage therapist/teacher - Gaetano de Simone - from the 17th-19th march 2012.

Time: Sat 17th march - 14-20:00hrs, Sun 18th and Mon 19th march 9:30 -18:00)

At the ed of the workshop, you will be given a certificate of attendance by Gaetano de Simone.

Please note that the 19th march is a public feast, so what better way to use a long weekend than to relax learning a new massage? :-))
